Spring up

I LOVE this photo. It stood out to me from a sea of random flower photos.

The contrast is fabulous! I love the way the light hits the flowers and makes them glow. The dark background really makes them pop.

They are crystal clear, and I like that they are slightly off-center in the photo. I'm always drawn to asymmetry. <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/s/s…" width="15" height="15" alt="" data-embed-type="emoticon" data-embed-id="391" title=" (Smile)"/> I like that the shot is geared more toward the right and the flowers are leaning left.

The only minor distraction I see is the grass in the front of the photo. It's lack of focus kind of draws me away from the flowers a bit.
