Supernatural

This is an interesting shot to say the least. The sudden brightness that is observed in the photo makes one wonder where exactly, or more specifically, what exactly, is causing so much light! Is it the rising sun? Is it something "supernatural"?

The clever composition of the silhouetted trees in front of the light source add for an interesting feature. What is also striking about this photo is the difference in tones. At the front of the photo, it is dark and gloomy, then suddenly rays of bright orange and yellow light strike through the trees and are abruptly cut off and fade to a red and then blue tone.

All in all, a beautifully constructed and composed photo, with obvious colour tones in mind by the artist. It makes for a pleasing photo to any beholder.
