While I find the subject and expression of this photograph intriguing, the very strong light at the peak of the temple's façade make details above the columns difficult to discern, and could detract from the overall effect by causing the eye to focus there in order to try and find the hidden features. Beyond this point, I enjoy the overall composition, especially the contrasts on the face of the temple of light and dark, as well as static and dynamic between the temple itself and the backdrop, though slightly less blur in the background might help to focus attention on the subject.
I simply adore the vividness of the colors in this photograph, the dimensions in the sky leave my heart feeling very light. I still make out the detail of the building, though not as well as I'd like. However, I suppose that is a good thing because, while I was so drawn in by the sky and the brilliance in its colors, I failed to notice several small details. As I took a harder look I was able to take in the smaller details in the background, the slightly crumbling pillars, and the cross (which I had completely missed the first time I looked). So, all in all, I like this photo. The sky took a little away from the details, but ultimately it worked in your favor because I took a longer and harder look to find even more details.
