Amazing.

I literally just sat and stared at my screen for a full five minutes, at least.

This is definitely one of most favourite pictures out of your whole gallery, for several reasons.

Number 1, you have once again displayed your masterful manipulation and use of the light/Lighting, by demonstrating the light fading from a warm to a cool colour. I honestly love how there is an almost vintage tinge with the sepia hue from the right to the darker purples of the forest on the left.

Secondly, this photograph speaks volumes. Apart from aesthetic beauty, which it has in unspeakable volumes, this picture is really rich in how it exemplifies a picture's fundamental purpose to an epitome; to tell a story. There are a hundred different elements to draw upon, the mystery of the road curving off into the distance, the almost foreboding gloom of the forest, the warmth associated with safety from the roadside, how humanity has invaded and broken the natural state of the earth and the woods have succumbed to bridges of civilisation, and yet it is not subdued with the evidence of the tracks of snow...this all contributes to the sense of mystery coming forth from the image with such excellent subtlety.
Also, the very presence of the photographer, you, reveling and capturing Nature and doing it magnificent justice and spreading its beauty with your amazing talent, can describe how Man & Nature have learned to dwell in harmony and appreciation.
I believe this shot is living testimony to the wonder and inspiration ingrained into every person's instinct. It actually made me really envious that you live in such a beautiful, beautiful country.

Well done!
