If there is one thing I can admire about this picture, it is your ability take a very common subject, the ladybug, and make a picture which none will get tired of...

I mean, the bug indeed is in a genuine posture, the composition is great with the focus also on the white flower and the green clover-like plant.

But this still doesn't make it really original. Yet, I love this shot, because you dared taking inside the framing more than just the main subject.

It gives a feeling of loneliness, and emphasizes on the red and nicely shadowed element... I think the different colours and light get very well together, nothing is too bright or too dark either, it is really pleasant to look at.

Besides, everything in your picture contributes to the beauty of the ladybug. The white flower takes much place, but it simply makes a beautiful setting for the subject, along with the green elements.

Only very few drawbacks: the bokeh is here rather poor, and I think it was meant to, your aperture of F/7.1 is probably no coincidence. So if it is your choice, I can respect that even if I like clear bokehs.
Finally, I would have been glad to have a bigger size available for this awesome picture, 500*500 px, that's ridiculous... But, your choice, once more !
