Temple of Light

I simply adore the vividness of the colors in this photograph, the dimensions in the sky leave my heart feeling very light. I still make out the detail of the building, though not as well as I'd like. However, I suppose that is a good thing because, while I was so drawn in by the sky and the brilliance in its colors, I failed to notice several small details. As I took a harder look I was able to take in the smaller details in the background, the slightly crumbling pillars, and the cross (which I had completely missed the first time I looked).
So, all in all, I like this photo. The sky took a little away from the details, but ultimately it worked in your favor because I took a longer and harder look to find even more details.
